How long did you chat/converse with her online before meeting up. I had similar experience many years ago and met someone from the internet and they look totally opposite of their profile photo. This is very misconceiving on her part. I would politely email her and let her know how you feel. It's not a good first impression to lie to someone upon first meeting. This will set the stage for more lies in the long run.
Good stuff webmistress. Thank you for your valued advice. I met her after 2 weeks of chat & phone calls. Very nice on the phone, very cordial, congenial in text. We met in town, she's a lot bigger (rolls on her face, neck, chin, her belly, her sides, her arms). Her picture was obviously from her "better" days. She's a 36 year old Christian woman with one child. My religion has taught me that beauty on the outside fades with time & that beauty on the inside is everlasting. It seems she is not respecting herself or her God? Using an old picture is I believe deceptive tactic. I'm confused, just want to do the honorable or "right" thing. We have been together for a whole 3 weeks. Don't want to make my problems yours, but, would appreciate any personal insight. Thank you so much.
I also believe that beauty is only skin deep. Definitely what's inside is what matters the most. If she had posted her true photo before meeting her, would you have contacted her and even met up? Since having been together with her for 3 weeks, how do you feel about her? Do you want to continue with this relationship? If not, I would advise letting her know sooner than later because it will hurt her less in the long run. Some of us woman get emotionally attached easily.
Honestly, I would not have even contacted her had the true/current image been uploaded. I cannot believe these words are coming out of my mind/heart. This is not the way I was raised. My mentor would be disgusted with my conduct. This is totally not my walk. I'm ashamed to be who I am at this moment. Need to pray asap.
That's way too fast on her part. A good relationship takes time to grow. Looks more like she was using you for shelter. Good thing you found out early.
